To Make A Reservation...
To be fair to all our clients, a reservation is confirmed (and the website availability removed) ONLY upon receipt of a deposit and a signed rental agreement, on a first come, first served basis.
Please review the LiliPad Rental Agreement, download and/or print a copy (.pdf), sign it and send by mail (please call for address), email as an enclosure, or fax (please call ahead) it with your deposit cheque. We shall acknowledge receipt by email. See our contact information.
«NEW» You can now pay your deposit with Interac Email Money Transfer. If your bank offers such a service, please send your deposit to the email address "lise@woodsgood.ca".
The rental balance cheque and a $150 damage deposit cheque are due at check-in. The damage deposit cheque can be returned or destroyed (according to your instructions) after LiliPad has been cleaned and inspected following your departure.

About LiliPad
LiliPad is "all-season" friendly, located within two acres of private woods. Built in 1991 and finished in cedar this two-storey lakefront cottage has 2,800 square feet of interior living space.
During the summer, there are no motorboats allowed on the lake thus encouraging a wide variety of flora and fauna... all very peaceful and beautiful. It's so quiet that on summer nights you'll hear loons calling and bullfrogs croaking.
During winter months the ice on the lake rumbles and cracks. A toboggan hill close by and a skating rink on the lake encourage amateur athletes to stay in shape.
The lake water is wonderful, clean and tested twice a year by our lake association. Fishing is good and you'll need a license, available in the local village of Perkins (Val-Des-Monts).
The chalet has its own septic system and deep water well. The water is tested regularly and we all drink it. If you wish, you may test the water yourself with kits available from our cottage next door.
Wear and Tear
Should any maintenance be required, we will take full and immediate responsibility for any repairs and upkeep. Should major damages be incurred by the renters, they shall be responsible for payment up to the replacement value. Reasonable wear and tear, such as broken cups, etc., is understandable; please inform us so that we can replace any items in a timely manner.
We also provide basic paper supplies (toilet paper, napkins) and some amenities such as a few cold beer, wine, etc. to save you an extra trip. Please replace used-up items prior to your departure.
Cleaning
We are proud to offer accommodations that reflect the cleanliness standards of a five star hotel. Prior to your arrival, a cleaning person has washed and changed all linens, cleaned and disinfected both bathrooms, vacuumed, dusted and made right the chalet.
Should you choose a two- or three-week stay, we do a "partial" cleaning mid-stay while the client is out. We clean the bathrooms and the kitchen, except the fridge if it contains any food. We provide the client with full sets of fresh bed linens so that they can change the beds in their own time. We ask that the client collects used bed linens Friday morning for us to wash.
To assure that the cleaning person does not inconvenience you for longer than necessary (normally a 4 hour period), we suggest you leave a clean kitchen and consider an outing, thus ensuring a quick return to your clean chalet.

Liability
In all seasons, we encourage our renters to enjoy their activities and the beautiful environment LiliPad affords. In case of accident, 911 service is active and available in this area. Any risks are the sole responsibility of the renters and the owners do not assume any liability in case of accident, injury, theft or damage to personal property. Renters may be asked to sign a waiver to this effect.
